The Friday Five: The Bachelorette, Guerlain Highlighter and NYC Apartments

ONE // Hannah Brown’s Outfits on The Bachelorette

Have you been watching The Bachelorette this season? I’m not a huge fan of the show, but I have to say, I’m hooked right now! While I love watching the dates and Hannah’s journey to find love… but I’m even more excited about her outfits. From her winter jackets to her dresses to her jewelry, I want everything she wears! Especially when I saw her wear this jacket from Helmut Lang, I just had to have it!

TWO // Guerlain Météorites Highlighter Duo

I recently purchased this highlighter from Guerlain (pictured below). I’ve always leaned towards pearly pink or cool-toned highlighters, so this one fit the description. I have to say, not only is the packaging beautiful but it is also incredibly pigmented. It makes your skin look radiant and awake!

THREE // Apartment Searching in New York

This week I’ve been doing a lot of apartment hunting in Manhattan, and it’s definitely not easy. I’d love to stay in my cute little space in Brooklyn, but I’m ready for a change! Apartment hunting can be a whole extra-curricular activity, but I’ve found that Street Easy is the quickest way to find options in the city.

FOUR // FabFitFun

I’ve ordered my very first FabFitFun box! I’ve finally given into the hype. I’ve always thought subscription boxes were a rip-off and that you are spending money to receive something you didn’t necessarily want, however with FabFitFun you get to choose many of the items in the box before they arrive. I’ve also realized that it’s something to look forward to and exciting. The only downside is the shipping takes a month or longer! I haven’t received my box yet, but when I do expect a full review!

FIVE // Reaching 1,000 Instagram Followers!

In case you missed it, @thefashionsquirrel reached 1,000 followers this week and I couldn’t be more proud! I started this blog in November and never thought that anyone would follow me or care what I had to say or post, but I’m so glad I was wrong! I know that 1,000 is very small in the scale of things, but I’m just happy that you’re all here and listening, and I can’t wait to keep creating!
